Rabun county road research reveals a history of roads never paved in the county. Based on seven years of history, Rabun paves about one mile per year of newly paved roads. According to the State Department of Transportation the number of paved roads in Rabun county in 2018 was 63% and this number was 58% in 2001. If you live on gravel road your odds of getting it paved are very low in Rabun county.
