Our lead story is from Rabun County Sheriff Nichols and his sincere appreciation to Tom Madison a Rabun resident for leading a recent fund raising to purchase customized rifle protective vests for all Rabun County Sheriffs. Tom’s volunteerism is a role model for other Rabun Citizens.
Other newsletter highlights include SDS status, SPLOST 6 approved budget, imminent sale of the Rabun Business Park, and County road activity. Also we report on the recently passed Rabun County general budget which included NO increase in Property Taxes this year.
